Course Description
In the M.Sc. program Economic Behavior & Governance, memorizing theories is not enough. Instead, the program focuses on practical application: ”How do concepts from behavioral economics and empirical methods enrich our comprehension of the real world? and “How can they help to tailor solutions to pressing problems in today’s economy and society?”. It is exactly this link between behavioral economics, empirical methods and governance that distinguishes the M.Sc. program Economic Behavior & Governance.
The M.Sc. in Economic Behavior & Governance is intended for holders of a bachelor’s degree in Economics or Economic Psychology who want to deepen their understanding of economic behavior and make a career of applying this knowledge to solve real-life problems.

Qualification Requirements
The application requirements for the study program in "Economic Behavior & Governanсе" are:
A bachelor's degree in Economics, or a related field, showcasing:
- A minimum of 180 ECTS credits in total.
- At least 54 credits in economics and/or business psychology.
- At least 18 ECTS credits in Mathematics, Statistics, or Economеtriсs.
Assessment of the applicants' general knowledge and methodological skills in Economics (online)
For applications submitted directly to the university, an admission decision will be provided within 3-4 weeks. For those applying through Uni-Assist, please allow 4-6 weeks for Uni-Assist to evaluate your application before your application is forwarded to the university for final review, which requires an additional 3-4 weeks.
