Requirements
Qualification Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, aerospace engineering, electrical engineering, IT or a degree in another engineering or technological discipline.
Required ECTS credits: 210.
Applicants with less than 210 ECTS but at least 180 may be admitted with the approval of the examination board if the missing competencies are proven with the application for admission. The missing competencies are to be demonstrated at the latest by the end of the application period. It can be demonstrated as follows:
- By providing evidence of practical work experience outside the course of study which corresponds in terms of content and scope to the practical semester of a bachelor's degree course in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, aeronautical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science or an equivalent other bachelor's degree course, e.g. at Ingolstadt University of Applied Sciences, provided that the degree submitted shows deficits in the area of the practical competencies to be demonstrated compared to the qualification requirement, or
- by providing evidence of practical or theoretical study and examination achievements in addition to the first degree from a German or foreign university that corresponds in content and scope to the requirements of a bachelor's degree program in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, aeronautical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science or an equivalent other bachelor's degree program, e.g. at Ingolstadt University of Applied Sciences, provided that the submitted degree shows deficits in the area of the theoretical or practical competencies to be demonstrated compared to the qualification requirement.
Admission is based on the grade point average of your bachelor's degree. The average mark required depends on the number of applicants and available capacity.
