English language proficiency can also be proven by a certificate showing successful completion of at least 4 years of English lessons at school with a final grade of at least 'satisfactory', a university entrance qualification acquired from an English-speaking institute of higher education, or a degree in an English language subject. The date of the test may not be more than three years prior to the date of the end of the admissions period. French language skills at least level B2 must be documented in the form of a corresponding certificate or a final grade of 'adequate' or 5 points awarded on completion of a four-year course of study at school. If at time of submission of the application, the applicant can demonstrate that they have French language skills at level B1 documented in the form of a corresponding certificate or a grade of at least 'adequate' or 5 points awarded on completion of a three-year course of study at school, they will be required to demonstrate that they have reached level B2, at the latest, on commencement of their third semester by submitting a corresponding certificate or by successfully passing a language admissions test set by the Université de Bourgogne in Dijon. Students will otherwise be unable to continue on the program and their admission will be canceled. Prior knowledge of Polish or German is not required for the Europa Master.
