Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a geoscientific subject/program with the following requirements:
At least 24 credit points (LP) in the subject of geosciences, earth sciences, mineralogy, geology, geophysics, and
A total of 36 credits from courses in mathematics, chemistry, and physics, whereby each of the latter three subjects must be contributed with at least 6 credits.
The examination board can determine that the applicant has to catch up on courses and stipulate corresponding requirements. These requirements may amount to 12 LP.
Minimum standard period of study: 6 semesters.
Required ECTS credits: 180.

Does the university recognize "other equivalent language certificates"? no
Additional information:
English language knowledge can also be proven by a degree certificate for the completion of an English-language degree program at a recognized institution of higher education, or a certificate of the higher education entrance qualification obtained for an English language course of education in a country that has English as an official language, or College English Test (CET; China) Band 6 with at least 550 points. Other certificates or credentials recognized as equivalent will be published on the University of Potsdam’s website in accordance with the LSK’s decision before the start of the application process.
