The application requirements for the study program in “Global Change Ecolοgу” are:
Candidates must possess an outstanding Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields:
- Biology
- Hydrology
- Meteorology
- Environmental Physics
- Environmental Informatics
- Geoecology
- Landscape Ecology
- Geography
- Forestry Science
- Agricultural Science
- Philosophy & Economics
- International Economics and Development
Or a comparable degreе.
Candidates must pass a two-stage aptitude test: an initial screening based on application documents and an interview online for those who advance.
Application documents (Bachelor's degree certificate and motivation letter) are evaluated on a five-step scale from 1 (very good) to 5 (insufficient), with international grades adjusted accordingly. Candidates with a combined score of 4.0 or less from the motivation letter and Bachelor's certificate, each weighted equally, will proceed to a 20-30 minute interview.
Success in the aptitude assessment requires the interview to be rated "very good" or "good" (1.0 or 2.0) and a combined score of 4.0 or less from the equally weighted interview and Bachelor's certificatе.
Language Requirements
The following certificates are recognised as proof of your language proficience.
Specification: Applicants can submit it by the end of the second semester at the latest.

The application process is done via the website CAMPUSonline.
As support, the university has developed a handbook for the application via CAMPUSonline.
After registration, the required documents can be uploaded to CAMPUSonline via the link Bewerbung / Application.
