Application Documents
- Copies of your certificates in the original language - and in addition, in sworn translation (in German or English): Higher education entrance qualification, first academic degree, etc.
- Depending on the type of degree and country of origin, additional certificates may need to be submitted.
- Letter of motivation.
- Up-to-date curriculum vitae.
- Academic reference letter.
- Copy of passport/official personal identification.
- Copy of a valid residence permit for Germany, if available.
- Proof of language skills (see language requirements for further information).
- For changing the university within Germany, in addition: A certificate of removal from the register of students (Submit at the latest upon enrollment) and a certificate of non-objection (proof of right to take examinations).
- Please submit all certificates in their entirety and include the diploma certificate as well as the overview of subjects and grades. You must not omit any parts of the certificate (such as a diploma supplement) or single pages. Certificates with inscriptions on both sides must be submitted on both sides (front and baсk).
