Course Description
As part of the consecutive master's degree program in Information Systems, students acquire in-depth knowledge and skills in the field of Information Systems after completing their first professional qualification.
The Information Systems degree program is characterized by its international orientation and flexible catalog of elective modules, focusing on acquiring skills for dynamic and sustainable digital transformation. In addition to an English-language foundation course, students can choose modules in English and German from various specializations (International Business and Management, Information Systems Engineering, Data Science, and Digital Business) in the compulsory elective area.
The course is designed in such a way that students can complete it entirely in English.
Our concept promotes an inclusive learning environment for students from many different countries, prepares our students for global challenges, and enables personal and professional development.
The degree program is application- and research-oriented. It is aimed at above-average graduates of Bachelor's degree programs with an information technology and business administration focus, such as Information Systems, Computer Science, Digital Business, and Business Studies.
*It is possible to study part-time (6 semesters).
Requirements
Qualification Requirements
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in business informatics, computer science, business administration, or in the field of digital economy.
Minimum standard period of study: 6 semesters.
Required ECTS crеdits: 180.
You will be admitted if your application grade is at least 2.0 and all other admission requirements are mеt.
Language Requirements
The following certificates are recognized as proof of your language proficiency.
EnglishSpecification: At least 6 in each band.
Specification: With TWE 4.5+.
Specification: At least 20 per section.

Application Procedure & Selection
Application Documents
The following documents must be attached to your online application:
- Curriculum vitae in tabular form, showing the sequence of the relevant periods of education.
- Certificates or transcripts of previous university education, issued by the relevant Examination Office, with a provisional average grade or final grade and a complete list of subjects and transcripts of records.
- Module descriptions of the relevant modules completed for the first professionally qualifying degree.
- Certificate of Graduate Record Examination Test (GRE) scores for applications that have not obtained their degree in a member state of the European Higher Education Area EHEA.
- Completed table for the assessment of academic aptitude (in the application portal).
- Proofs and certificates of sufficient English language skills (see language requirements).
Please note that certificates and attestations must be submitted as officially certified copies in German or English upon admission. The university reserves the right to make a final decision on the recognition of the certificatеs.
