Previous Degree
Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
Required ECTS credits: 210.
Applicants with less than 210 but at least 180 ECTS credit points shall be admitted if the other requirements are fulfilled and the missing competencies are proven with the application for admission. The missing competencies are to be provided by the end of the application period at the latest and can be demonstrated as follows:
- by proof of professional practical achievements outside the course of study, which correspond in content and scope to the practical semester of a bachelor's degree program in the field of engineering, or in the field of general computer science, or in the field of technical computer science, or
- proof of practical or theoretical study and examination achievements in addition to the first degree at a German or foreign university, which in terms of content and scope meet the requirements of a bachelor's degree program in the field of engineering or in the field of general computer science or in the field of technical computer science. The board of examiners shall decide on the equivalenсе.

Additional information:
For English language certificates, the proof is not required provided the university entrance qualification certificate (certification of secondary school) or the bachelor's degree was acquired in English or the applicant possesses the citizenship of a country in which English is the native language. The German language certification is not required of applicants who have completed their university degree in the German language or when the applicant is a citizen of a country where German is spoken as a first language. At the latest, the corresponding certification must be shown at the end of the first semester.
