Course Description

You can study full-time, part-time, or get a double degree.

Qualification Requirements

Previous Degree

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in International Management or a field of business administration with a strong international orientation.

Minimum standard period of study: 7 semesters.
Required ECTS credits: 210.

If you have a bachelor's degree which accounts for less than 210 credits (3.5 years), it will be checked whether you have to take a certain amount of bridging modules in order to achieve a total of 300 ECTS credits after completing the 90 ECTS credit master program in International Management. Bridging modules can be completed either before or during the master's program. The examination board determines the exams (modules) to be taken. Modules from the higher semesters of the bachelor programs to graduates of the Universities of Cooperative Education (Berufsakademien) are recommended. University graduates are advised to complete more practical modules or even an internship in order to obtain the required ECTS credits.

Work Experience

If you have undertaken professional employment abroad for at least 12 months after completion of your bachelor's degree, you will receive a grade bonus contribution to your bachelor's degree GPA.

Language Requirements

The following certificates are recognised as proof of your language proficience.

min C1 Advanced (CAE)
CEFR English
min C1
min C2 Proficiency (CPE)
Does the university recognize "other equivalent language certificates"? no

Additional information:
If you have not taken an internationally recognized language test (e.g. TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English, Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English) or if English proficiency at level C1 is not explicitly recorded on the certificate (or transcript of records) of your first university (bachelor) degree, then C1 English language proficiency can be certified by a competent person (e.g. a qualified language teacher) who is officially able to professionally assess your proficiency in English. In this case, download the form (Proof of English Language Competence for Applicants) and ask a language teacher to fill in, sign, date, and stamp the form. The English language certificate is only necessary for applicants from countries, which have not declared English as the official language.
