Please prepare the following documents:
- Completed application form.
- English language certificate (see language requirements).
- A bachelor's degree/diploma in jewelry that qualifies for a master's degree (at least 180 ECTS). Applications with degrees in accessories, fashion, or product design with a special affinity for jewelry are also welcome.
- A portfolio:
- You determine the number of works yourself.
- Please provide any relevant additional information for each piece of work so that it can be understood.
- For team projects, please explain what your area of responsibility was.
- Films or other media can be integrated into the PDF as links.
- The submitted digital artworks will not be used by the university and will be deleted after the application process has been completed.
- A letter of motivation (max. 1 page) in which you address the following points:
- What experience do you personally bring to the M.A. in Jewellery?
- What excites you about the M.A. in Jewellery program?
- What do you understand by "jewelry", what new potentials interest you? Tell about a current work, innovation, or exhibition that you find exciting and enriching.
- Describe what role you think jewelry has/will have on culture and society.
- Suggest a possible research project. Pforzheim University
is interested in what you plan to do in the M.A. in Jewellery. Please describe why it interests you and how you propose to approach it. - A letter of recommendation.
