Five Reasons to choose this Master's Program
Course Description
The Master of Landscape Architecture Program seeks highly qualified applicants interested in English-language-based graduate education focusing on the European context and willing to develop the interdisciplinary and intercultural skills necessary to thrive in an application and problem-oriented setting.
Special Program Features
Create a unique interdisciplinary and intercultural experience
The culturally heterogeneous background of the Master of Landscape Architecture students provides a unique learning setting where team-work and interdisciplinary knowledge are fostered. Building on this, theories, techniques, and problem-solving models are developed, compared, and examined for their applicability in different cultural and political contexts.
Learn from an application- and problem-oriented approach
Students will work on a wide range of topics regarding the field of conservation, planning, developing, and designing open spaces in urban and rural environments using their diverse backgrounds of previous professional experience. Additionally, coursework is designed in a modular and workshop-oriented manner and includes exposure to leading guest lecturers and critics.
Utilize in your projects the most modern technology available
Depending on the chosen project topic, students will have access to the newest technologies and tools regarding digital imaging, landscape simulation, and geographic information. In these cases, practical design studios in class fully integrate the use of 3-D imaging tools and the informational resources of the internet, ensuring that the courses are always up to date with the times.

Testimonials
It was a great experience studying at Anhalt. My batch was a really great mix of people from all around the world.
I chose the MLA programme at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences because it takes an international approach to landscape architecture. I liked the peaceful and quiet surroundings of Bernburg best and the brilliant, competent and helpful professors [...]. The practical approach of the programme helped me find a job in practice after graduating. I am currently working as a landscape architect in Berlin
