Course Description
The International Master's program in "Lasers and Photonics" at Ruhr-Universität Bochum is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the fields of optics, optoelectronics, laser applications, laser metrology, ultrashort laser physics, and more. Bachelor/Bakkalaureus, Diplom, Magister, Staatsexamen, Master (and other qualifications, provided that they are recognised as being equivalent) For this degree programme, you should have gained your first university qualification in one of the following subjects groups or areas of study: Subject group: Engineering Sciences, Mathematics, Natural Sciences Applicants must have completed at least six semesters (three years) of university studies and hold a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, chemistry, or similar. The overall average grade (GPA) should be at least 'good' (for example, at least 73% out οf 100%).
