Testimonials
What I particularly liked about the Master of Science in Management and Economics at Ulm University was the very wide range of courses and specializations on offer. The combination of Economics and Financial Economics prepared me perfectly for my current appointment as an emerging market economist at a macroeconomic consultancy firm based in London, as many of our clients are interested in both economic developments and their impact on financial markets. I also really liked the international focus of the program and the wide range of lectures taught in English. This benefits me greatly when working with clients from all over the world.
As a founder and managing director, I can recommend the Master of Science in Management and Economics at Ulm University without reservation. Even after many years, I still benefit from the broad range of subjects in the study/degree program in my everyday appointments. During the start-up phase, it was above all the good basic understanding of corporate law and Financial Economics issues that made my path into entrepreneurship easier. In the meantime, the knowledge of accounting and tax law has helped me to manage my company. However, I would particularly like to highlight the quantitative orientation of the study/degree program and the insights into IT topics - because digitalisation is in demand in all industries. If you want to understand economic viability and are thinking about starting your own business, Ulm University is definitely the right place for you.
