Requirements
Qualification Requirements
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in biology or molecular life science.
Any other bachelor’s degree provided that at least 74 ECTS credits of foundational coursework in the natural sciences have been proven to have been completed in the following disciplines:
- Mathematics (incl. physics and bioinformatics, if available): 6 ECTS.
- Chemistry (general; inorganic, organic, physical, and biochemistry): 8 ECTS.
- Biology: 60 ECTS.
Within these foundation courses, 30 ECTS credits must attest to the knowledge of laboratory practice and skills in chemistry and biology acquired in laboratory internships. Any credits lacking in mathematics and chemistry can be compensated by corresponding credits achieved in molecular biology. These credits shall be accumulated in addition to the 60 ECTS credits in biology. Furthermore, the bachelor thesis must be an experimental project.
