Additional information:
In some cases, an alternative form of proof of language proficiency may be submitted in place of a language certificate, such as a GMAT with a score higher than 600 or via the language of instruction in an academic program (e.g. in a bachelor's) by submitting your transcript of records or your degree certificate as evidence (the language of instruction needs to have been English in more than 50% of the program). The MSNE Program expects all students to acquire German language skills during their studies. You get released from this constraint by providing proof of sufficient German language skills along with your set of application documents (optional). Please have a look at TUM instructions website on different forms of approval. You can acquire German language skills e.g. by attending lectures offered in German language or by taking a dedicated German language course at the TUM Language Center.
