Requirements
Qualification Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in physics or an equivalent qualification. The following are recognized as equivalent qualifications:
- A successfully completed bachelor's degree with at least 20 credit points (LP) in mathematics and 85 credit in physics.
- A successfully completed degree in physics with the degree "First state examination for teaching at grammar schools or a comparable degree" or with a diploma.
- Other successful domestic or foreign degrees, if these include examinations, the examinations in the bachelor's degree in physics at the University of Bayreuth are equivalent and if they meet the other requirements.
If the bachelor's certificate or a diploma recognized as equivalent is not yet available, a confirmation must be presented when enrolling that all examination and study achievements required for the acquisition of this certificate have been completed and have been rated at least with the grade "sufficient". As a rule, this includes examination and study achievements to the extent of at least 180 credit points and includes the bachelor thеsis.
