Course Description
The master's degree program in Political Science is aimed at graduates of a first-degree program who are seeking further academic training in political science in a research-intensive environment. The subject of the Master's degree program is the theory-based empirical analysis of democracies, state activity in different political systems, the comparative analysis of political systems, foreign policy, institutions, conflicts, and international regulatory policy.
The master's reflects the research priorities and core competencies of the Institute of Political Science, primarily the comparative analysis of political systems in general and research into democracy and state activity in particular, conflict research and institutional analysis. It offers students the opportunity to focus on specific areas within the modules offered and thus to develop their profiles. Students are also actively involved in ongoing research practice and gain insight into current political science research debates.
This master's degree program must be combined with a minor subject.

Qualification Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a related subject. You must have obtained at least 35ECTS credit points in political or social science.
Minimum standard period of study: 3 years.
Required ECTS crеdits: 180.
Above average grade point averagе.
