Holistic Medicine State Exam Programs in Germany without Admission Restriction / NC-Free (2026/27)

Germany offers international students a unique opportunity to study Holistic Medicine in a nation that uniquely integrates complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) with conventional healthcare, where Naturheilkunde (naturopathy) and integrative approaches are recognized within the medical system and covered by many insurance providers. Pursuing Holistic Medicine in Germany means accessing specialized programs at institutions like the University of Witten/Herdecke—Europe's first university to integrate anthroposophic medicine into medical education—and universities offering degrees in complementary medicine, learning from a country where 60% of physicians incorporate some form of CAM into their practice. German universities and specialized schools deliver comprehensive curricula that combine evidence-based conventional medicine with traditional healing systems, including homeopathy, phytotherapy, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and manual therapies, while emphasizing scientific research methods to evaluate holistic treatments through Germany's strong tradition of natural medicine research.
