Tuition-free Song Arrangement Programs in Germany with Admission Restriction — Numerus Clausus/NC (2026/27)

Song Arrangement programs in Germany provide international students with the creative and technical expertise to reimagine music across genres, blending the country’s deep traditions in orchestration with modern production practices. Students learn to transform solo pieces into full orchestral scores, adapt folk melodies into contemporary pop or electronic arrangements, and craft vocal or instrumental versions that preserve a composition’s essence while offering innovative perspectives. Curricula combine classical foundations in instrumentation, harmony, and notation with hands-on training in industry-standard tools such as Logic, Cubase, and MIDI orchestration, while also addressing genre-specific arranging, copyright issues, and the psychology of musical perception.
