The University of Applied Sciences for Finance in Edenkoben is the internal administrative university of applied sciences for the state of Rhineland-Palatinate, operating under the supervision of the State Office for Taxes (Landesamt für Steuern – LfSt) in Koblenz. As a specialized institution, it is responsible for the dual education and training of future tax officials in the Rhineland-Palatinate tax administration. The university offers a practice-oriented curriculum that combines academic instruction in tax law, public finance, and administrative procedures with practical experience in local tax offices. Through small study groups and structured learning phases, students are prepared for careers in the public sector with the degree of Diplom-Finanzwirt (FH).
