Württembergische Verwaltungs- und Wirtschafts-Akademie

The Württembergische Verwaltungs- und Wirtschafts-Akademie e.V. (VWA), based in Stuttgart, is a non-profit registered association dedicated to the vocational training and continuing education of specialists and managers in administration and business. Established in 1928, it has been active in part-time adult education for nearly a century, teaching its participants through evening and weekend study. Its offering ranges from seminars to multi-stage programmes leading to qualifications such as Betriebswirt (VWA), a Bachelor of Arts, and an MBA — some of them run in cooperation with a state university of applied sciences (Hochschule Pforzheim).
