The Deutsche Berufsakademie Sport und Gesundheit (dba), founded in 2016 and located in Baunatal, Hesse, is a state-recognized private academy that pioneered Germany’s first dual sport science bachelor’s programs by integrating academic rigor with extensive practical experience. With around 240 students, the dba follows a blended learning model that combines monthly on-campus sessions with self-directed online studies and hands-on training through partnerships with more than 500 industry organizations, ensuring that graduates are exceptionally well-prepared for the dynamic demands of the sports and health sectors.
