Fachhochschule Erfurt, also known as University of Applied Sciences Erfurt or FH Erfurt, is a public university founded in 1991 shortly after German reunification. With over 4,000 students, it is a medium-sized university of applied sciences located in the historic city of Erfurt, the capital of the German state of Thuringia in central Germany.  UAS Erfurt has three campuses located in different parts of Erfurt - the Altonaerstrasse Campus, the Leipzigerstrasse Campus and the SchlĂŒterstrasse Campus. The university facilities are modern and well equipped, providing students with an inspiring learning environment.

Numerus Clausus (Admission Restriction)

For degree courses with a numerus clausus, part of the study places are allocated according to the grade point average (GPA) of the previous degree. Selection is generally based on how many applicants apply for a place. The higher the grade, the more difficult it is to get onto the course. The German grading system ranges from 1.0 (very good) to 6.0 (unsatisfactory).
