In addition to training and further education, the HPol BB also organises advanced training courses for the higher and senior police service – partly in cooperation with the Berlin Police – and provides in-service training for police officers in the state at decentralised locations. As a scientific and practice-oriented campus with a training station, shooting range, traffic training area, library and sports facilities, the HPol BB promotes police science, research and police-specific further training in the context of modern security requirements.
