Humanistische Hochschule Berlin: Master Programs without Admission Restriction / NC-Free (2026/27)

Humanistische Hochschule Berlin (HHB), founded in 2021 and beginning teaching in winter semester 2023/24, is Germany's newest state-recognized university operated by the Humanistische Vereinigung Berlin-Brandenburg, representing secular humanist philosophy in higher education. This nascent institution in Berlin-Pankow, housed in the former Australian Embassy to the GDR, shares its campus with a humanist daycare and primary school, reflecting its philosophical orientation toward secular, evidence-based education rooted in humanist values emphasizing human dignity, reason, and ethics without religious foundations. As an institution that only recently began teaching operations, HHB represents an experimental model in German higher education—attempting to establish a university explicitly grounded in humanist philosophy—though its extremely recent founding means no track record of graduate outcomes, employer recognition, or established academic reputation exists yet. The university likely offers programs in humanities, social sciences, and possibly education or social work aligned with humanist principles, though specific degree offerings, enrollment numbers, faculty composition, and accreditation details beyond state recognition require verification given the institution's startup phase.
