It is organised as a non-profit limited company (gGmbH) and is based on Campus-Boulevard in Aachen. Guided by its mission "Manage Future Technologies.", it combines management and technology in part-time continuing education programmes for professionals and executives. Current insights from engineering and the natural sciences are systematically applied to business challenges. The portfolio comprises four MBA and master's programmes: the Executive MBA Technology Management and the M.Sc. programmes Data Analytics & Decision Science, Management & Engineering in Technology, Innovation, Marketing & Entrepreneurship, and Sustainability Management: Technology, Analytics & Transformation. The school also offers customised executive education formats for companies. Since opening in 2017, it has welcomed around 100 new students from more than 30 countries each year. An industry advisory board regularly reviews all programmes for their practical relevance.

For degree courses with a numerus clausus, part of the study places are allocated according to the grade point average (GPA) of the previous degree. Selection is generally based on how many applicants apply for a place. The higher the grade, the more difficult it is to get onto the course. The German grading system ranges from 1.0 (very good) to 6.0 (unsatisfactory).
