StudiumPlus: Insurance - Dual Studies

StudiumPlus is a well-established dual study program in Germany that combines academic education with practical, company-based training. Organized by Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen (THM), it operates in partnership with CompetenceCenter Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg (CCDHBW), a network of hundreds of companies and institutions. StudiumPlus's core idea is to closely link theory and practice. Students are enrolled as regular university students while being employed simultaneously by a partner company.

Numerus Clausus (Admission Restriction)

For degree courses with a numerus clausus, part of the study places are allocated according to the grade point average (GPA) of the previous degree. Selection is generally based on how many applicants apply for a place. The higher the grade, the more difficult it is to get onto the course. The German grading system ranges from 1.0 (very good) to 6.0 (unsatisfactory).
