More about this webinar
Studying Tourism Management is not about learning to sell holidays. It trains you to run destinations, advise organisations, develop strategies, and handle the big challenges the industry faces, from climate change and overtourism to digitalisation and changing traveller expectations.
The programs in this webinar approach tourism from different angles. Some focus on strategy and the future of the industry, teaching you foresight methods, leadership, and digital transformation through case studies, business simulations, and project work. Others focus on sustainable destination management, showing you how to plan tourism, develop regional strategies, work with data, and put sustainability into practice for companies, associations, and regions.
Students come from many different backgrounds, including business, economics, geography, sustainability, and the social sciences, and bring that perspective into their studies. Graduates go on to work in tourism consulting, destination management organisations, public institutions, non-profits, travel and hospitality companies, and their own ventures.
You will learn:
- What each program covers and how it's taught, from project work and simulations to field trips and data-driven learning
- Whether your background fits and what each program expects from applicants
- What you need to apply, including entry requirements, language certificates, and deadlines
- Which careers graduates move into and how the programs connect you with the industry
- What student life is like at each university
- Live Q&A with the program teams
Come with your questions. Leave knowing which program to apply to and what to prepare.
