Five Reasons to choose this Bachelor's Program
Course Description
The B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering / International Project Engineering is aimed at prospective students who hold a university entrance qualification for German universities. In some cases, it may also be required that international students have studied at an accredited university in their home country or that they complete the Studienkolleg foundation course in Germany.
Special Program Features
Option 1: Regular Model
Students choosing the regular study model learn first the basic principles of mechanical engineering and then deepen their knowledge of engineering and management. Students complete a practical semester in Germany (for international students) or in non-German-speaking countries (for German students). They have the chance to write their bachelor’s thesis in cooperation with a partner company in Germany.
Option 2: Special Model
Students choosing the special study model learn the basic mechanical engineering principles and then deepen their knowledge of engineering and management. Students complete a practical semester at a partner company in Malaysia and complete courses related to digital production and Industry 4.0 at the Penang Skills Development Center (PSDC). They have the chance to write their bachelor’s thesis in cooperation with a partner company in Malaysia.
A unique curriculum for the digital era
This program’s future engineers are trained to combine traditional mechanical engineering knowledge with forward-thinking project management skills. This guarantees a unique set of skills to shape the future in an era of change in the digital capacities of industry.
