Heiligenhaus: Numerus Clausus

Heiligenhaus offers international students a specialized educational experience at its Campus Velbert/Heiligenhaus of the Bochum University of Applied Sciences, focusing on mechatronics, information technology, and mechanical engineering. This pleasant town in the Ruhr region provides practice-oriented education designed in close collaboration with regional manufacturing companies, creating a direct pipeline to Germany's innovative industrial sector. International students benefit from the ultra-modern campus facilities opened in 2018, combining cutting-edge technology with small class sizes that foster close mentorship relationships with professors and personalized attention uncommon at larger institutions. The university's dual study options allow students to earn while they learn through partnerships with renowned German companies specializing in precision lock mechanisms and security technology—industries for which the region has been famous for centuries.
