Koblenz: International Programs with Admission Restriction — Numerus Clausus/NC (2026/27)

Koblenz offers international students a distinctive educational experience at Hochschule Koblenz (University of Applied Sciences) and the local campus of RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau, set in one of Germany's most spectacular landscapes where the Rhine and Moselle rivers meet beneath fortress walls and vineyard-covered slopes. The universities provide quality education with particular strengths in information technology, business administration, engineering, and educational sciences, combining practical orientation with strong regional connections that create valuable internship opportunities in both technology and tourism sectors. Studying here means living within a UNESCO World Heritage region—the dramatic Upper Middle Rhine Valley, dotted with medieval castles and terraced vineyards, forms the backdrop to daily life and weekend exploration in ways that make even routine trips feel remarkable. The iconic Deutsches Eck, where the rivers converge beneath a monumental statue, and the imposing Ehrenbreitstein Fortress accessible by cable car across the Rhine add cultural weight to a city that balances 2,000 years of history with genuine student-friendly energy.
