Neuendettelsau: Application Deadlines (2026/27)

Neuendettelsau offers international students a distinctive educational experience at its Augustana Theological University, one of Germany's important Lutheran seminaries focused on theological studies, diaconal work, and mission studies. This tranquil Bavarian village provides specialized religious education in a setting deeply connected to Germany's Protestant heritage as the historic center of the Lutheran diaconal movement founded by Wilhelm Löhe. International students benefit from the seminary's global partnerships, particularly with churches in Tanzania, Papua New Guinea, and Brazil, creating a surprisingly international atmosphere in this small community. The intimate campus fosters close mentorship relationships with professors and a supportive spiritual community where theological reflection is integrated with practical ministry training.
