Ravensburg: Top study programs (2026/27)

Ravensburg offers international students a distinctive educational experience at its University of Cooperative Education (DHBW) and University of Applied Sciences, specializing in business, social work, and media design. This charming medieval city provides quality education through innovative dual-study programs that combine academic learning with paid work placements at partner companies throughout Upper Swabia's dynamic economy. International students benefit from the universities' strong connections to regional businesses, including global players like Ravensburger (the famous puzzle manufacturer), creating valuable hands-on experience alongside theoretical knowledge. The magnificently preserved old town, with its impressive merchant houses and medieval towers earning Ravensburg its nickname "City of Towers and Gates," creates an inspiring backdrop for academic pursuits while offering authentic immersion in southern German culture away from tourist centers.
