The town is home to the Sankt Augustin campus of Bonn-Rhine-Sieg University of Applied Sciences (H-BRS), known for its hands-on approach to education, offering Bachelor's and Master's programmes in fields like engineering, computer science, and social policy, many with strong English-language support. Students also benefit from close ties to on-campus research institutes, including the Institute for Safety and Security Research (ISF) and the International Centre for Sustainable Development (IZNE), which open doors to practical projects and industry connections.
