Georessourcenmanagеmеnt

To be eligible for admission to the master's program in Georesources Management, applicants must have a recognized first university degree. They must also demonstrate specific knowledge and skills, evidenced by earning credit points (CP) in required subject areas:

• 20 CP in Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics: Including fundamentals of mathematics, general and inorganic chemistry, physics, and organic chemistry/geochemistry.
• 45 CP in Geosciences: Covering topics such as mineralogy, geology, petrology, geoengineering, geodynamics, GIS and remote sensing, earth system physics, economic geology, hydrogeology, organic geochemistry, soil science, geohazards, geochemical analysis, landscape genesis, and structural geology.
• 5 CP in Geoscience Field Work: Including mapping courses, field courses, and field labs.
• 5 CP in Legal Fundamentals
• 5 CP in Business and Economics: Including fundamentals of business management and introductory economics.

Applicants must have completed coursework comparable to that in the Georesources bachelor's program at RWTH Aachen University. If an applicant needs to fulfill more than 30 additional credit points, admission will be denied.

For certain specializations, applicants must demonstrate language proficiency in German or English. For example, the "Umweltmanagement" specialization requires proficiency in German, while the "Raw Materials and Energy Management" specialization requires proficiency in both German and English.

Additionally, general regulations apply for recognizing academic credits from prior coursewοrk.
