Previous Degree

To study at a university, you need a corresponding qualification: a higher education entrance qualification (HZB, e.g. Abitur).

With a subject-specific university entrance qualification (e.g. after an apprenticeship), applicants can apply for subject-related degree programs. For further information on applying with and without an Abitur, visit the university websites.

Additional Qualification

If applicants did not complete your school-leaving certificate in Germany or at a German school abroad, they must provide proof of sufficient German language skills.
