Five Reasons to choose this Master's Program

Course Description
Design the next generation of products before they exist: in Ohm’s M.Sc. Computational Mechanical Engineering, you learn to model, simulate, and improve complex mechanical systems with scientific rigor. You deepen advanced mathematics, engineering mechanics, FEM, CFD, and machine learning—then put them to work in project-based coursework tied to the faculty’s application-oriented R&D. In a focused thesis, you tackle an ambitious research or development challenge. Choose English, German, or a mix of both for your modules.

This degree fits you if you hold a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) and want to specialize in simulation-driven product and process development. You enjoy math, physics, and precise thinking, and you’re motivated to turn models and data into engineering decisions. Ideal for future FEM/CFD analysts, R&D engineers, or PhD-oriented candidates aiming for research-led work in international teams.
