Computer Aided Conception and Production in Mechanical Enginееring

In order to apply you'll need the following documents:

1. University transcript of records (preferably with ECTS conversion).
2. Proof of at least 12 months' work experience: the program requires a minimum of 12 months' work experience by the time of enrollment. The proof of work experience must include the following information:
   1. The employer's address and stamp.
   2. Contact details of your supervisor.
   3. Date of joining and, if applicable, resignation date (duration).
   4. Weekly hours.
   5. Job title.
   6. Short task description.
   7. Please note: your proof of work experience must be signed by a superior or HR.
3. Curriculum vitae (CV).
4. Letter of intent (1 page): please answer the following questions in detail:
   1. What perceptions do you have when thinking of studying in Germany?
   2. Why do you want to study at RWTH Aachen University?
   3. Why did you choose the program in question?
   4. Please mention your past academic or university experiences.
   5. Where did you receive information about RWTH Aachen University and the program?
   6. In what way does the program in question contribute to you achieving your career goals?
5. Proof of English language proficiency (see language requirements).
6. Two letters of recommendation: please note that no standard form or format is required for the letter of recommendation. The letter of recommendation can be issued by a university professor/lecturer or by a superior from your employment. It should, however, provide the following information:
   1. Your relationship with the author.
   2. Your academic/professional history.
   3. Your qualities/achievements/ambitions in your respective field.
   4. Your personal traits and goals.
   5. The author’s signature.
   6. Be written on the institution's/company's letterhead (if possible).
   7. Bear the stamp of the issuing institution/company (if possible).
7. University degree certificate.
8. GRE (Graduate Record Examination) – Verbal reasoning 145 | Quantitative reasoning 160 | Analytical writing 3 (only for non-EU and non-EEA applicants).
9. APS, only for applicants with a first degree from China.

If your documents were not issued in German or English, you must have a certified translator translate them into either German or English. These copies do not need to be notarized.
