Additional information:
Proof of basic German language skills (for international students) is no longer required. Applicants can be exempted from producing proof of language proficiency, if they declare English to be their native language and are citizens of one of the following countries: United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, United States of America, Antigua and Barbuda, the Bahamas, Barbados, Dominica, Grenada, Jamaica, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, Belize, Guyana; or have completed their Bachelor’s studies with English as the language of instruction; or have visited a bilingual school if one language of instruction was English; or have taken English as a school subject during the Oberstufe (final years) at a German Gymnasium (secondary school) with minimum grade point average at the end of the Oberstufe “befriedigend” (“satisfactory”, 8 grade points). If the required minimum grade point average of “befriedigend” (“satisfactory”) has not been obtained, the applicant may compensate for this if a minimum of 1 semester of the bachelor’s studies has been completed with English as the language of instruction; or a full-time internship lasting a minimum of 3 month has been completed in an English-speaking company.

Final degree certificate and the transcript of records, including the average grade, of your undergraduate degree, which provides information on the contents of your previous study program. If no certificate is available, please submit a transcript of records covering all your examination results to date, including all grades and the average grade. If the average grade is not included in your transcript of records, the Registrar's Office calculates the arithmetic middle of all grades, which will serve as your average grade. The final degree certificate must be submitted by December 15th at the latest for the winter semester for which admission has been granted.

If you have already been enrolled in the same or an equivalent master's program:
Documented proof of your examination claim for the program is valid, and
that you are not currently part of any examination process.
