Entrepreneurship (Сlassiс)

The M.A. in Entrepreneurship curriculum at Worms University of Applied Sciences is crafted to support students through each stage of the entrepreneurial journey, providing essential knowledge and practical skills for launching, managing, and scaling businesses.

• Semester 1: Founding a Company
  Students are introduced to the foundations of entrepreneurship with modules such as "International Entrepreneurship" and "Creativity and Innovation." Key courses like "Strategies of Internationalization," "Business Psychology," and "Leadership and Intercultural Management" equip students with strategic planning and leadership skills critical for startup success. “Project and Change Management” further develops collaboration and conflict resolution abilities.
• Semester 2: Growth Phase
  In the second semester, students focus on the growth stage, studying "Management and Marketing of Innovations" and "Managing Family Businesses." Additional electives, including E-Commerce, International Supply Chain Management, and Strategic Marketing, allow for specialization. The “Entrepreneurship Boot Camp” is a program highlight, where students create startup concepts and tackle real-world business challenges. In addition to the core elements of the 2nd semester, students choose one additional specialization from a carefully selected group of elective modules, thus increasing their expertise in their preferred areas.
• Semester 3: Placement Semester
  Students engage in a practical internship, applying their academic knowledge in real-world settings in Germany or abroad. This internship provides valuable professional experience and networking opportunities for a future career in global trade. It is possible to shorten the standard period of study from 4 semesters to 3 semesters by excluding the placement semester. These have to be proven by one of the following options: a) Bachelor's degree of at least 210 ECTS or b) relevant working experience of at least one year after the successful completion of the Bachelor's degree and prior to the commencement of the Master's degree program.
• Semester 4 (or 3): Advanced Development and Specialized Entrepreneurship
  In the final semester, students delve into “Social Entrepreneurship” and “Corporate Entrepreneurship,” applying entrepreneurial practices within larger organizations. The program culminates with a Master’s Thesis, ideally completed in partnership with a company, allowing students to address practical business challenges with their acquired expertise.
