Course Description
In recent years, the topic of digital transformation in companies and the needs of qualified employees has developed rapidly. In the context of digital transformation, companies face the challenge of qualifying their employees as an "enabler" at the interface of business and IT.
In the master´s program in Information Systems Engineering and Management, IT specialists and computer scientists as well as business administrators and engineers will be enabled to advance internal and external digitalization and to assume leadership functions, especially in the field of digital transformation of companies.
Requirements
Qualification Requirements
Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in economics, computer science, information technology, business engineering, physics, or a related subject.
Basic knowledge in higher mathematics or stochastic.
Basic knowledge in one of the following fields:
- Theoretical and technical computer science.
- Programming.
- Databases.
- Operations research.
- Micro- and macroeconomics.
- Production technology.
- Manufacturing engineering.
- Logistics.
- Measurement and control technology.
- Circuit technology.
Under certain circumstances, other degrees may be accepted (e.g. depending on professional experiencе).
A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in the specific field of the master's program (depending on the first degree´s level). HECTOR Schools recommendation is at least 3 years.
References are needed as evidencе.
