Agricultural Sciences and Horticultural Sciences Bachelor Programs in Germany without tuition fees (2026/27)

Agricultural Sciences and Horticultural Sciences in Germany combine hands-on plant and land management with the kind of research infrastructure you'd expect from a country that exports precision farming technology worldwide. You'll work through soil science, plant breeding, crop protection, and increasingly automation and sensor-based farming — often with direct access to university-run experimental fields and greenhouses rather than just lecture halls. Germany's mid-sized agricultural regions (Lower Saxony, Bavaria, North Rhine-Westphalia) put many programs close to real farms and horticultural businesses, so internships and practical semesters tend to mean actual seasonal work, not shadowing.
