Organ Improvisation is the art of spontaneously creating music on the organ, blending technical mastery with creative expression in a tradition that stretches back centuries. Often shaped by liturgical contexts, classical forms, or personal inspiration, it challenges performers to invent themes and develop them into coherent musical narratives in real time. Students focus on harmony, counterpoint, and structure, cultivating the ability to balance discipline with freedom.
