Because many programs are offered in English, it provides students the opportunity to study in a cosmopolitan and diverse classroom setting.

In Germany, degree programs in Political Science are often very interdisciplinary and give you the opportunity to deepen your knowledge in diverse aspects of the subject area. In the field of international relations, programs often intersect with international law and focus on human rights, or intersect with International Political Economy and focus on aspects of development. Some programs focus on comparative politics and feature aspects of area studies and policy research. There are also less theory-based programs, which focus on cutting-edge topics such as digitalization and e-governance.
