Berufsakademie Nord

The Berufsakademie Nord (BA Nord) is a university of cooperative education in Hamburg, based on Hammer Steindamm, that specialises in practice-oriented dual study programmes in therapy and nursing. On 1 September 2024 it launched three new dual degree programmes in this field. Students can either pursue a standard dual degree or, if they have already completed vocational training in the relevant field, combine their studies with employment. At the centre of the portfolio is the Bachelor of Science in Applied Therapy and Nursing Science, which covers nursing, physiotherapy, speech therapy and occupational therapy.
