The Hochschule Bielefeld - University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSBI), formerly known as Fachhochschule Bielefeld until 18 April 2023, is a public university of applied sciences founded in 1971. With approximately 10,500 students, it is one of the first Fachhochschulen to be founded in Germany during the first wave of Fachhochschulen. HSBI has three campuses in Bielefeld, Minden and Gütersloh, offering a diverse educational experience in different settings.

The university offers a wide range of academic programmes in various disciplines including design, engineering and mathematics, social sciences, business and health. HSBI is known for its strong focus on application-oriented teaching and research and maintains close links with industrial, business, social, cultural and health institutions in the Ostwestfalen-Lippe region.
