The Hochschule der Bildenden Künste Saar (HBKsaar), also known as the Saar College of Fine Arts, is a public art and design university located in Saarbrücken, Germany. Founded in 1989, it emerged from the "Staatliche Schule für Kunst," which was established in 1924 and later transformed into the "Schule für Kunst und Handwerk" in 1964, both with a strong tradition in arts and crafts. From 1971 to 1989, the school was part of the current University of Applied Sciences before becoming an independent institution.

As the only university of art and design in the German state of Saarland, HBKsaar offers a challenging and fulfilling education to approximately 500 students. The university's urban campus is situated in the heart of Saarbrücken, housing main administrative offices, studios, lecture rooms, a comprehensive library, media and equipment facilities, and well-equipped workshops for various artistic disciplines.

HBKsaar provides a diverse range of artistic and design-oriented programs, including Fine Arts, Communication Design, Media Art & Design, Product Design, and Art Education.
