The Katholische Hochschule fĂŒr Sozialwesen Berlin (KHSB), founded in 1991, is a state-recognised private university of applied sciences with around 1,400 students and 90 teaching staff, specialising in social work, social education and health care. Located in Berlin, the university offers accredited Bachelorâs and Masterâs programmes such as Social Work, Clinical Social Work, Social Pedagogy and Preventive Social Work, combining theoretical knowledge with strong practical orientation through supervised placements and project-based learning, particularly in the 5th and 6th semesters where students develop their own projects in areas like community work, health promotion, gender and diversity or interculturalism.
