The Hochschule fĂŒr Schauspielkunst Ernst Busch (HFS Berlin) is a prestigious public university for the performing arts in Berlin, founded in 1951 as the National Theatre School and granted university status in 1981 before being renamed in 1982 after the singer and actor Ernst Busch. With around 250 students, it offers an intimate and intensive education across four departments: Acting, Directing, Puppetry, and Dance.
