Overview Deadlines

The North Rhine-Westphalia University of Finance (HSF NRW) has its headquarters in the magnificent moated castle of Nordkirchen and has branches in Hamminkeln and Herford. It is a state-run university of applied sciences in North Rhine-Westphalia under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Finance. The university was originally founded in 1950 as a state finance school and was officially converted into a university of finance in 1976 by the University of Applied Sciences Act (as of 14 December 2019). With around 2,795 students (as of 2023) and more than 160 teaching staff, it offers a practice-oriented dual study programme leading to a three-year degree in finance (Diplom-Finanzwirt (FH)).
